No.

My dream scenario? Miles takes over one of the service schools - Army, Navy or Air Force.

Low expectations / pressure, the whole country loves the guy... he coaches another 5-7 years, retires a legend, maybe has a few really good years, everyone is happy.

I don't know that he could adjust enough to coach a service academy.

Yes, the academies run, but they are almost forced to run an option/wishbone offense.

Weight limits at the academies mean they cannot recruit huge linemen. They must depend on speed and athleticism.

Miles's pro-style, power-running offense would be a disaster at Army or Navy, who regularly are outmanned.

This whole thing reminds me of Tubby Smith and UK. He was a very good and successful coach who got stuck in his way of doing things and wasn't quite reaching the unrealistic expectations of the fans. He was ushered out more or less with his dignity intact, however, and went on to coach at Minnesota and Texas Tech. He was never as successful as he'd 'been at UK, but he had a respectable career after leaving. I hope Miles has a similar career after leaving LSU, if he wants it. And, I hope Alleva can find a way for Miles to leave LSU with dignity. I just hope we don't have to suffer a Billy Gillespie before we find our Calipari

No, I want Coach Miles to be tarred, feathered and living in a VAN down by the RIVER.

Clemson fans are dying for Lester to go to the coots. They have some want for him.
