Any special UNI's for this Saturday's game?

I'm sure each team will wear a patch, or helmet sticker, or something to honor the state this game was supposed to be held in.

Yeah, I dont think they would have enough time to throw something totally different together. A patch or something should suffice.

Bro, it's the first game of the year. LSU will wear their traditional white Jersey, gold pants, and gold helmet. The only thing different from years past is that ed O let's the players wear visors for eye protection that les miles didn't let them wear for some stupid reason. Their jerseys are back to the shoulder stripes that look better than the ones they had last year and years before and their cleats are a little different. Same ol badass lsu uniform. Hell yes.

Special uniforms that were thought of a year in advance in rememberance of a storm that happened a year before the unis were designed and two years before the actual game. White tops, gold pants. Let's roll!

I didn't explain myself correctly.. I meant alternate uni's. They wear them sometimes and more frequently over the past few years. I think it's pretty cool and gets new recruits excited. Just wondering..Favorite was the Pelican uni's they had for the LSU vs Tulane game in 07 white/purple/white

The equipment staff works with Nike 12-18 months in advance on a lot of stuff. The only difference is that the uniforms were changed to the Vapor Untouchable template. The shoulder stripes don't extend to the armpits anymore. The reason we wore the fauxbacks last year was to showcase this template. The only variations I'm aware of are white pants and helmets.

The rule is always open season in traditional whites wherever it is. Same for 1st home game and 1st SEC game. Those aren't negotiable for sure. The rest may be unless there's another I'm not thinking of. I think 1st OOC opponent in Tiger Stadium that's not the home opener is purple jerseys.

Wanna bet? It's been different in the past. Granted, it's been a LONG time. But before DiNardo we didn't always wear white in those cases. He started a special petition then we finally got a rules change years later.
We have a new coach. I don't THINK it will change... but it COULD.

That was an away game. Mississippi State chose to wear white and LSU honored that request.
