Come on L=C, Mainieri is asleep at practice and doesn't watch these guys on a daily basis. He can only evaluate them by starting them all at once in the same game.

Like someone else said, besides Dean's herp derp, the backups looked pretty good in the field. I think Stone has the potential to be good.

They won't even make the postseason roster.

Exactly.

So, according to Russian's logic, he was starting Foster and Sciambra to see what he could get out of them for postseason purposes? They're friggin juniors. I'd hope Paul knows what he can get out of those two by now.

Don't get me started about Chinea.

Zardon is the only one that you could make a case for, but he's also already been inserted into SEC game lineups against much better pitching where a coach could get an actual realistic grasp of what he's got with that player.

It was Hunter Newman who was swapped out of the roster when Laird came back healthy (if I remember correctly). Not a very similar situation here.
Michael Barash also left to play with his summer league team early.

A 3rd string catcher who rarely played in 2013. That's kind of expected. I wouldn't gripe at all if Chinea was left off the postseason roster, although I don't expect it to happen.

He was just preparing them for the pitching they'll see in the Cape!

Who cares about that, I'm just excited for the hitting instruction that they will get this summer.

The above statement is a joke, relax.

That's also where they start receiving instruction from Javi in the form of text videos.

He thought bhe could destroy Alcorn with no matter who he plays. Only Post Season question should be Domangue, Fury or Faucheaux?

Post Season Roster should be like this:

C/IF > Chinea, Scivique, Moore
IF > Hale, Robertson, Bregs, Ibarra, Zardon
OF > McMullen, Laird, Stevenson, Fraley, Foster, Sciambra
P > Nola, Poche, McCune, Boumann, Cartwright, Glenn, Person, Broussard, Devall, Bugg, (Domangue,Fury, Faucheaux)

Well it's evident how much CPM loves Domangue. I think Fury needs to be on it. He was clutch for us in spot situations last year (Bama, Vandy, etc.).
