The announcers were certain it would be a Florida recovery, but then LSU possession was CONFIRMED, no less.

Would have been a huge moment.... PHEW.

Ball was recovered while touching out of bounds. Good call by the booth.

whichever way that was called on the field was going to be upheld. i think it was a lot closer to recovery than most on here

that kid was not out of bounds, lol. I am certainly glad it broke our way, but it was a bad call.

It's about time we got one of those Tom Ritter-Alabama calls.

They kept freezing it at the point where he first got his hands on the ball, but he didn't gather full control right at that point. Once he fully possessed it, half his body was out of bounds. The replay was misleading, I think they got it right.

I just hate that he might be perceived as a mere mortal now:-(

That was exactly what it was. That was the PP7 of fumbles, imo.

The defender palmed the ball in bounds, but then pushed it into his stomach and briefly didnt have possession and didnt control it completely until he was out of bounds

If they would have played the replay through they would see he was our of bounds. The truck paused it when it looked like FLA had possession, which was not the case.

Would have been interesting to see Miles bench LF7 over the fumble.

I thought it was a sure fumble.

I thought it was a bad call, too. I was expecting "the call STANDS", not "confirmed". They saw something I didn't see, or they were corrupt.

He had it in one hand pulling it back towards him but as he brought it back into his body the ball moved and he never fully gained possession until after his shoulders and back landed out of bounds.

Either way, the coaching staff should have been screaming at Harris to snap the fricking ball. Those on the sideline knew how close it was & yet he sat under center & sat under center forever. It would have been a huge turnover.

It was not a bad call. No angle showed when he had full possession of the fumble so they had no choice but to uphold the call on the field. No conspiracy shite to it or anything like that. Just because his muffs started scooping it before he went out of bounds doesn't mean he had full possession of it by the time he went out. His entire body was on the white line when he turned over and the ball was rolling on his chest. It was the right call because they didn't have enough video evidence one way or the other, period.

I believe he initially grabbed the ball before it went out of bounds, but went out of bounds before he gained full control. There was one really good view that showed the ball still moving as he touched oob.

Still cannot believe they didn't get the next play off more quickly to avoid that review. That was UF ball. The SEC office realizes the only way to get 2 teams in the playoff is if it is LSU and BAMA, you'll start seeing a lot more plays in our favor

They kept replaying it right up until the moment he touched it and then stopped. I kept saying let it roll for a few more seconds and he was clearly OOBs before establishing possession. Of course as soon as they did it was obvious.
