I think Chip Kelly could win big at LSU but I also think USC is a more natural fit. LSU fans are obsessed with calling everything but the power-I a "gimmick offense" and wouldn't be very patient.

les is fired sunday night. press conference monday and jimbo announced as the head coach on monday/tuesday along with his staff.

I think Chip Kelly would do well at LSU. He is very aggressive and situationally smart. It would be totally opposite from Miles, which is what everyone is so tired of with him.
The Oregon style offense is run based, mainly between the tackles. It can definitely be tweaked to better fit the SEC style of play and the talent available. It would be very interesting to see.
I don't think defense would be an issue here for Kelly. I don't see how it could be any worse than now, except we would score 80 points a game to make for it.

Kelly would kill it here offensively. Hire a good DC and let him coach. He is by far the most innovative offensive coach out there.
