JJ can take big hits, get up and still beat Bama's arse.

Bama has made his arse quit before. If he runs the option, I think LSU is playing with fire. I just hope we don't knock Jefferson and Lee out of the game, Mett is your best QB and the one I don't want to face.

If Miles wants to be NC, he would start Mett.

And this is based off of all the snaps he's taken against SEC caliber defenses I'm sure. Either you are making a lame attempt at flaming or just an ignorant arse? I'm betting on option #2!!

Plus its not like JJ or JL have been able to beat Bama (2 straight one in Bama's back yard - soon to be 3 in a row). Just face it man Miles can beat Saban with just about anybody playing QB

I fail to understand this logic. "catch them off guard"? Saban has heard of Lee...and I am pretty sure he has seen him on game films and stuff. I doubt a random JLee appearance is going to catch Bama "off guard".

not quite what I mean...a quick personnel change that either creates a mis-match or forces them to burn a time-out. If you recall in 2009 when JJ went out, the tempo and playcalling changed up a bit when Lee came in, and for the first 6-7 plays he was pretty effective.

You are absolutely correct. LSU has beaten ALA 2 straight times with just about anybody playing QB. QB and LB are the only 2 weak links on your amazingly strong team. If it wasn't for QB and LB, Bama would have no hope. Hopefully, Bama can exploit those two weaknesses.

QB pressures and passes to the TEs and RBs are the only way we can win. And we have to be successful on 1 or 2 attempts to throw downfield when we get 1 on 1 coverage with the honey badger.

Lee will take the final snap and that's it.

Lee only threw one pass on that TD drive you're referring to. It was Charles Scott on his last run as a Tiger and Ridley who were effective.

No, the way he plays under pressure(rush) I don't want him anywhere near the field !

he had a couple of completions right after he came in for JJ, although the 4th down conversion was called back because Lafell wasn't lined up correctly or something. Believe me, I'm not making a grand point about Lee playing...

I would use Lee as a decoy. Send him in as a Wide Receiver and line him behind the line of scrimmage to make it look like a catch a throw downfield by Lee. Saban and the defense will go apeshit in an attempt to guard it. Then have JJ run the option to the opposite side of field.

I can't think of a reason to not do this.
