I can't believe that this is what we've come down to. People hoping our starting QB would be suspended by the league office.

This. I don't really see the big deal, the ref touched him first. And it wasn't really a slap like everyone is saying, he just brushed off his hand.

He also lost his cool several times when the Arky d-line was talking smack. I guess he figured he needed to respond verbally since he couldn't do it physically.

it did seem like a visceral (literally) reaction and not aggressive. It's one thing if a ref is jumping in to break up a fight, but if someone (unless invited) touches my chest/stomach area, my hands will reflexively push the hand away.
i mean, AJ shouldn't have been trying to get in their huddle, so I don't blame the ref either.

I give AJ the benefit the first time but the second time was uncalled for. Sorry if I have higher expectations for our starting qb than some in this thread.
