From my experience, wvu fans are on one end of the spectrum or the other. We got offered rides, food, beer and conversation by many. Tons of em said thanks for coming and talked about getting in the sec.

But on the other end, tons of douchebags. Guys and girls (mainly younger, probably students) would walk by and give is the bird and a "frick you." every school has those, but they seemed more abundant here

Nicest fans i've ever dealt with. Half of section 204 wanted to kill me though for the shite I was talking in the second half though.

We had a great time. Fans were nice. The only thing that shocked us were the number of female fans shouting "Fu k you" and "frick Lsu". It happens mostly in the evening around the bars, but we encountered it on many occasions.

Didn't diminish our time, just caught us off-guard as we didn't expect the language from the ladies......

Overall a great trip. Their fans really support the team.

They were " loud" at times. But if the video has to tell you to get loud, you're not doing it right. Also the loud piped in music between snaps was lame.

It was a mixed bag. Older fans were very nice. Younger drunk fans were extremely nasty and vicious. We got in Thursday night and people acted like they had never seen fans from a visiting school or maybe had never seen anyone who weighed less than 325 lbs. Lots of fat people . I found the town depressing and looked like every run down town in every movie about Appalachia. The booing of injured players was trashy, but then when LSU fans sarcastlicly booed one of their injuries the WVU fans wanted to fight over it. It was nice to see the difference in SEC football and the minor conferences. They seemed awed by gameday being there and just not used to big game experiences. I hope they are never a part of the SEC....we already have Starkville, we don't need their hillbilly cousins.

You obviously don't get what he was trying to point out to you.

Don't sit near the student section in Tiger Stadium.
it may not be beer, but they definitely through full cups of coke, water bottles, etc.

Nobody is throwing those things at anyone though. It's a touchdown tradition.

Most scores. Certainly more throws when the touchdowns are more important in bigger games.

Everyone that we met was more than gracious before and during the game. We had a group of 25 people and only one of us had anything bad to say about WVU.

It was almost like a mass email went out the week before and told WVU fans to be nice to everyone. It was definitely better than I expected.
