Didn't see it posted yesterday or this morning.

Former LSU G Antonio Blakeney signs with agent

quote:

ESPN reported Tuesday that Blakeney, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard, who announced via Twitter on April 11 that he would put his name in the draft, has hired Aaron Turner as his agent.

What a shame he couldn't see what the new Wichita assistant has done with previous guards. good luck to him though

Hard to blame him. He gambled on Jones and LSU and it backfired. Badly. Appreciate him coming here but I understand he's gotta make a living now. Don't see any reason he couldnt make some scratch in Europe if the NBA doesn't work out

If what people say around here is true about his family's financial situation....then I don't think that matters honestly.

I wish him great success.

I really wish we could have done more for Blakeney. He's got a lot of untapped potential

What kind of bank can players like AB make playing over seas?

Jones had no idea how to coach him. Would've loved to have seen what Wade could've done with his talent. Fare well AB

I hope his passport is up to date. But good luck to him wherever he ends up playing.

Depends on what league he plays in. Players in some of the more prominent overseas leagues make solid money.

Anywhere from 60,000 to 200,000. Just depends on the team, where he wants to go, and the demand for him.

How bad is his family situation? I keep seeing it referred to here. Must be pretty freaking bad for it to be such a concern and common knowledge.
