I just hate to see my fellow Tiger fans getting their hopes up over something that isn't going to happen.

This three-game losing streak sucks, but it isn't enough to bury Miles.

---A qualified replacement would need to be found.

---A $15 million buyout is steep (yes, it is broken up over 8 years, but that is still 1.875 million a year, or $156,250 per month).

---Also, Tom Herman and Justin Fuente have $3 million offers to "stay off the market." Not impossible, but it's highly unlikely that we'll have enough cash to go after them.

---Jimbo Fisher is certainly not leaving Florida State to come to LSU. He is coming off a National Championship in 2013 and CFP appearance in 2014. Fisher stays.

---Also, what coach would want to come to LSU, a school that just ousted a man with a 77 percent winning percentage over 11 seasons (including one national championship and two BCS Championship appearances) because of a three-game skid? I wouldn't.

I'm a huge LSU fan, and I hate that we are losing to inferior opponents too, but I'm also a realist. Les is gonna Les for at least one more season. Dig in.

Miles is all but gone. Get a box of Kleenex and clinch your pillow extra tight for the next week. It's gonna be a rough time in your life.

Well, you aren't a top level college or NFL coach are you? Have you not paid attention over the last 11 years? No college football analyst, or any article quoting anonymous college coaches, have ever praised Miles for his coaching ability. About the only thing I've ever seen Miles praised for is his recruiting ability. There aren't many top level coaches that would be scared to follow Miles footsteps.

Have been living under a rock, it's pretty much a done deal. If not, Alleva should go for floating the story. Because if we don't do it now, we will get beat up on the recruiting trail. Alleva went all in and if was bluffing, he has seriously hampered recruiting.

Good lord, there are 40 bowl games -- 80 teams out of 128 or so teams make a bowl game.

Merely making a bowl doesn't really mean a thing anymore.

Ok dude, ton of bowl games, fine.

However, ten seasons in a row with 8+ wins, on the cusp of an 11th?

How many SEC coaches can say they've accomplished that?

If I could push the button on Miles, I would. I am just here to tell you that Joe Alleva is not going to fire LSU's winningest football coach because of a three-game losing streak.

/Sigh/

12 game regular seasons, add a bowl game. 3-4 cupcakes per year, with a couple weak conference games too.

You think winning 8 games, with our recruiting base, facilities, money/support, tradition, etc is something to cheer about?

Will you self-ban if Les is still LSU's coach in two weeks?

8 minute mark or so

Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard the show. I agreed with every single thing Booger said from that 8 minute mark which is all I listened to. He was perfectly on point. How is it that others haven't seen this for years?

I think you should self-ban if Les is still HC in December.

Since you are sooooo confident he will be ousted.

Ahh, I see the trap. The buyout drops to $12.9 million on January 1, 2016. So Miles should be fired that day but St Jean here will be correct in that it won't be before 2016. Well done, sir.
