"If LSU loses to Ole Miss by 21 points, Les Miles will be fired."---Booger McFarland

The tweet heard 'round the Bayou. Sure enough, LSU lost by exactly 21 points.

Les Miles will not be fired this week, and the chances of him being fired before 2016 are slim to none.

I'm not saying Booger needs to be fired or demoted, but as a listener/viewer, you certainly cannot respect Booger (as a pundit) as much as you once did.

"If X happens, Y will be the result."

X happened, but the opposite of Y was the result.

Look for less national airtime for Anthony "Booger" McFarland.

He will no longer be the coach this time next week.

Will you self-ban yourself when it is Jan 4th and he is still coach?

He had solid points about Les' offensive philosophy and inability to adapt to win football games. I believe him when he said 90% of alumni players he spoke to were unhappy with how the team has been performing.

I spoke with Arnold Miller last year before the Bama game, and he is one of the 90 percent.

It wasn't a prophecy or prediction of what would happen, it was his opinion of what should happen.

8 minute mark or so

So you can't respect booger because he speaks the truth and something that should happen? And Miles is not coaching in 2016.. you might as well forget it and get over it.

We have lost 6 games since you spoke to Miller. This coach just did something that even curly didn't do(lose 3 games in a row by double digits). Enough for me.

I'm a realist. Common sense tells you he will still be head coach in 2016.

Les Miles has one national championship, three SEC West Championships, two SEC Championships, seven double digit win seasons, and is on the cusp of his 11th-bowl appearance in as many seasons. A three-game losing streak (we're not losing to A&M) will not be the death of Les Miles.

I am not sure what will happen at the end of the 2016 season, but I guarantee he will be eating Lambeau grass on September 3rd, 2016.

There are 36 bowl games.

That means that 72 out of 125 FBS schools go to bowls. That means that, mathematically speaking, it's more difficult to miss a bowl game than it is to make one.

Call it a flaw in the CFB system or whatever. It doesn't mean what it once did. If you're not in the top 4 today, you're playing in a meaningless exhibition game.
