He's probably got to earn his way back up the roster. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start against TCU.

Exactly. For various reasons, guys move around the depth chart. I wouldn't proclaim anything set in stone as of now.

If Mett goes down after the first play at TCU I'd bet my 401k that Rivers goes in. People love a QB controversy though and need to know what name to tell when Mett throws a bad pass

Maybe, but Cam did have Jennings starting the spring game.
No small feat for a 18 year old true freshman in the LSU program two months.
He's either that good or the other QBs here longer than him are that bad or a combination of both.
Mr. Jennings seems to be making a serious bid for playing time behind ZM. That much is clear as things stand now.
