Anthony Jennings/Hayden Rettig

I know Miles and I just hope that these two guys get a fair shot during the spring. Both are great looking players coming out of HS but I feel like Jennings is nothing short of special RGIII'esque. I believe Jennings will be the truth! What say you.

No one knows shite about how any high school QB will translate to college football. LSU fans, of all people, should know this.

If both guys throw for 500 yards 10 TDs and no INTs in the spring game and completely out play Zach in practices. Zach will still start every game next year until he gets injured no matter how many times we lose.

I call bullshite. I'd be willing to be money that Les runs a 2 quarterback system next year with Anthony Jennings being the more run-oriented QB.

It does not matter how good they are or anyone on the current team he will not play him. Too hardheaded.

So you're saying there is absolutely no way possible that one of these guys could come in and be a more accurate passer than Mettenberger? I'm sorry my friend but that's retarded. The guy has a cannon but is terrible in the accuracy/touch dept.

To think a true freshman qb will come in and beat out mett is crazy no matter the talent. Not only do they have to play better but learning the system takes awhile.

I totally agree that neither of them should/will come in and start day 1, but IF either (Jennings especially) are as good as advertised, I would like to seee them play some like RP did to Flynn.

We already have Randall (who is far more athletic)and Bolden on the roster and neither played a down this year.
