LSU is beyond lucky to have a quality man leading this program. I don't think there is a better coach in the nation. There is no doubt in my mind that every player who plays for this man not only becomes a better football player, but a better person for having been around les miles.

I'd never seen that. Holy crap that got me choked up…
If humility, dignity, and class could win us a Natty, we'd have one this year for sure…

Les Miles

It was cut off at the end, but Les asked if he could pray with Sid - Les wasn't just trying to help the kid feel better for a time, but cared for him as a person in hopes he would recover - tells me a lot

I wish the prayer was included at the end.
Sid seems like a kid we would all want to have as our on. And Coach miles seems like a guy we would all like to have in our corner.

Wow. Just puts sports in perspective. I love LSU sports, but the character of our coach is so much more than his win / loss record ( which is pretty dam impressive.). Les was 100% sincere in that discussion.

I was fine until Miles offered Alabama seats to him.

Then I wasn't. That really got to me.

Well stated.

If that doesn't make you reach for the Kleenex, I don't know what will.

Now that's a beautiful thing. Great kid, great coach, incredible family to share that moment. Thank you to all and RIP Sid. You made a difference. I know, because you changed me.

What amazes me is the love and support Sid got not only from the LSU community, but our SEC colleagues as well. Particularly Bama fans. They were here from day #1 till the end. Way to represent Tide fans.

This has been said over and over, but I'm going to say it again. LSU is extremely lucky to have a man with the character that CLM has at the reigns. He really puts things into perspective as far as what really matters in life. Sid was one hell of a fighter, hopefully he knows just how big of an impact he's had on on this team and its fan base.

I got the chills when he offered Sid a box seat to sit with his wife Kathy.

Speaks volume for LM and I'm damn proud that this man is running our program.

RIP Sid, looking forward to meeting you one day.
