The Lsu fanbase continues to have the largest collection of pussies in the country. It's not even close. I don't understand what the point is to be as self loathing and hate the lsu program as much as the doc, fishen4life and tigerpawl.

I like Les but with losing our Defense, I sure hope Mett steps up or we are in for a long season. My worry is if Mett can't step up Miles will still stick with him like he did with JJ. as I have said before Les sure loved him some JJ! We can only hope our defense does their best this year with some new faces.

Doc is an outstanding contributor to this site. Can't speak for the other two.

You nailed it!

Miles has guided LSU to the finest eight year period in our football history, that's fact and not an opinion, but those clowns you called out and a few others act like LSU football hasn't done shite and Miles has failed us.

They are either trolls or dumb pussies who need to move on and fine another team to crap on 24/7.

Who would u bring in here that could do a better overall job?
Id like to see the list.....
Miles should be praised for not taking the Michigan job which is one of the all time easiest and top paying gigs in all of sports. Instead he chooses to listen to all this BS every year and compete against the best programs in the country.
Dont underestimate our schedule which is consistently in the Top 5 every year. Ole Miss had a Top 20 football team last year but 99% of college football fans have no idea. The record still holds more weight than strength of schedule. Its unfair but it is what it is.
Other than day game mgt he is outstanding at all of his Head Coaching duties.
He was 13-0 just two yrs ago with poor QB play playing against the most difficult schedule in America. U can have a helluva ball club and lose to Fla, Ala, Ga, and A&M all of them with just a few bad bounces. See Ole Miss last yr. But Miles has found a way each yr to develop a team that can beat anybody anywhere anytime. U are what your record says u are. Is this a phenomenon or just pure luck? If neither, then who gets the credit for this?
In the SEC there is more pressure and more drama than anywhere else. He has been handed alot of bad situations here at LSU, definately more than his share. He has perserveered and prospered and so has his Dam Strong football team.
U can follow the herd and think of CLM as Elmer Fudd but when its all said and done he will be a legend at LSU. It wasnt that long ago some were saying that both Bobby Petrino and Urban Meyer would do a better job at LSU. Where would we be today if we had brought in either one of these two dudes? Dont believe the hype we got a real good one that is real.

You're really going out on a limb here. That's a rhetorical question and a mute point since Miles' contract (courtesy Alleva and the Board) makes it prohibitively expensive to make that happen.

Mute point? Is that something you need to engage in more often?

Interesting that you choose a Miles appreciation thread to break this astounding news to us.
