We're at halftime and Michigan has yet to run a single toss dive. Guess they didn't figure the need to copy that Les Miles offense too much.

Hmmmm. Effective. That's an interesting word. FBS team vs FBS team (no fcs cupcakes figured in), LSU is ranked 11th in the country in yards per play. 2nd in the SEC. Although both ole miss and LSU have a 6.6 average, so I reckon you could say tied for 10th and 1st.

Yup... Its easy to rack up big #'s against Syracuse and Eastern Michigan and W. Kentucky..I still don't think the pumpers have a clue as to how bad LSU was in those three straight November defeats..........

he refuses? Miles refuses? do you respect our passing game?

the FACT is we don't have a passing game worthy of respect. we are a one dimensional football team. why? i'm gonna say the coaches only play a part and the players play the other part.

I do agree that Miles doesn't even practice the passing game early in the year against the cupcakes and our play calling is anything but qb friendly.

an analogy: my son was a pitcher is college. he needed a more effective change up. in the early games (against lesser opposition) our pitching coach only called fastballs and change ups. he HAD to learn to throw and trust his change. later in his career it was his money pitch.

les miles doesn't play that way just like he doesn't give his back up qb any meaningful reps. it has come back to haunt him. I hope he learned better and this year will tell.haviing cam on the sideline calling plays is step 1.

Hardly anyone here questions the "philosophy", it's simply the fact that Les does not believe that a passing game compliments the running game, and he refuses to force the defense to respect the LSU passing game. Les wants to say, "Here we come, try and stop us." And 9 times a year other teams aren't talented enough to.

BS. We don't have a QB that executes well enough to do more. Now...that's on Miles...but to spout some junk about passing game complimenting whatever is just stupid. Not true.

As far as wanting to be simpler and out execute teams...hope you don't want Chip Kelly...cuz that IS his philosophy.

You left out our 54 yards TOTAL rushing vs bama and our 59 yards TOTAL rushing vs Arkansas.

You know what is really pathetic? We lose 3 games by 2-3 TDs when anyone who watched them saw us get skullfricked all game....and then people on here actually go looking for stats from those games that they can use to argue that we weren't that bad.
Delusional much?

We've really had 3 OCs since Miles has been here. Jimbo, Crowton, and Cam. If you can't see the obvious differences in our offense during each OC's tenure then I can't help you.

You are the poster trying to have it both ways.

Except I'm the exact opposite. If you want to blast Miles for our lack of offensive production you can't give th credit to OC'S wheb out offense was good.

I guess you're just gonna gloss over how wrong you were in pass attempts, right?

The pass attempts prove that Miles is willing to throw the ball a good bit wheb he trusts the qb.

Incessantly bashing the team and program, picking the team to lose its bowl game but when they won act like it didn't matter, make excuses for other teams when they lose games but act like your supposed favorite team is a dumpster fire?

Because that's what many supposed "fans" have been doing

You'll have a hard time convincing me these people don't want what's best for the team and program...improvement. They may disagree with you about what needs to happen to achieve that, and therefore dig up and point out every possible flaw they find, but you do the same thing they do. You look for every little thing you can find to prove that everything is ok.

Well we aren't a dumpster fire.
But everything isn't ok either.

If you keep obsessing about fans on here, you are feeding the very mindset you rant about.
