Pretty sure he would be in the NFL if he was a safety as well

we can't talk here about former coaches?

Then I guess we also can't talk about former players either.
So no more posts about Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Devin White, Shaq, Bregman, etc.

Got to be consistent, fella.

What's more insane is Chase was committed to Kansas. Even Jamaar must have not known how good he was.

This story is overblown and misrepresented.

He wanted him to work out at safety at a camp early in his hs career.

Maybe it was a mid evaluation. Maybe it was trying to get a different look at a kid. Maybe it was trying to put him in an unfamiliar spot just to see how he responded.

It's overblown because it was a sophomore in high school who eventually committed to Kansas. Chase didn't know how good he was yet. It's not like Miles wanted 2019 Jamaar to play safety.

False. Gary Crowton didn’t think he could play QB, ensminger kept recruiting him anyway (to keep the relationship) but as a TE since he didn’t have the sway to overrule Crowton.

Later on, Miles saw more of him at QB and started to recruit him there and ultimately it partially led to Crowton being fired.

These kind of threads are dumb.

If he was the best safety in the NFL, you could say “coach x thought he should play WR, LOL”

That only lasted a week or so. Tony Hull had an interesting NOLA to Kansas "pipeline" thing going at the time.

No his speed coming around the corner would have been hard for an OT to catch. Would have been a sack every passing play

It's "Dak". Short for Dakota.
