who thinks RS should stay at QB? All I keep seeing is how everybody seems to want him to play somewhere else.

No you are not the only one that wants to see him stay at QB especially after the Spring Game I am on that train cause his arm looked better than I thought......but please feel free to read posts by the idiots that want him to return punts

He should move to DE. Talk about a speed rusher.

I think most ranters want him to END up playing QB, but there is no reason he should stay at QB this year and just waste him holding a clipboard this season

I don't disagree with this but make sure you use him like Tebow when he was a freshman.....don't hang him out to dry returning punts in the SEC as a guy that might be the next great QB in the SEC

Yea run a guy who is 6'1 175 up the middle in the SEC, yea that won't get him hurt

OK let me spell it out for you real nice and slow.....I didn't say RUN him like Tebow I said USE, as in USE him in certain situations....You have to get the kid in space and get him outside the tackles.....hell no don't run him up the middle that would only be slightly more intelligent that putting him in as punt returner

OK well he is a completely different player than Tebow, Tebow never had the potential to make huge plays outside the tackle, he is just automatic for 3 yards on every carry!! We can use RS for bubble screens as WR, use him in Wildcat formation, I mean there are endless options for RS, Tebow does not have that, he was only good for running the ball up the middle and an occasional jump pass

I would be more OK with wide receiver, however I would cringe....I mean this guy will be our #2 QB possible by the end of this year and who is gonna play QB if Jefferson goes down in 2010 you want our #2 guy playing other positions on the field....maybe he plays a little WR this year but I wouldn't chance it often....and no way does the kid ever return a punt ever period

Obviously if he is our clear number 2 in 2010, i don't want to see him in much action as well, but we are talking about next year, 2009, and I want him on the field as much as possible

There truly is such a thing as a "silent majority".

For a lot of folks, rather than remain silent and risk being thought a fool, rantards open their mouths (or in td.com's case type on their keyboards) - and remove all doubt.

I want to see him play wherever the coaches deem him most valuable to our team.

Why not? It's not a demotion. Get the best players on the field at all times. He's certainly articulated the willingness, and he has the ability to contribute in a myriad of ways. Someone of his talent can be tutored at QB, WR or PR, simultaneously without any drop-off next year in his long term development, no matter the ultimate postion for which he is suited. I want to see the guy play, and I bet he feels the same way.

You're not more at risk returning punts than anywhere else on the field.

It could certainly be an advantage if he touch the ball on every offensive play. In order to do this, he would need to play QB. I think that's why Miles has been keeping him there. Otherwise he may only touch it on about 25% of the plays, if that.

There's quite a few rantards out there chirping, just look the other way. (see my sig for proof)

There's plenty of people who agree with you. I for one don't have the coaching credentials to decide either way.
