Or maybe those higher ups told him to hire O when he couldn't land Herman. These are the same people who have given their stamp of approval to F. While I'm sure there was some truth to the hire ups story, the truth is that Alleva had already lost Jimbo. He was going to be at square 1 of the hiring process and took the out.

The same damn thing happened last year. He struck out and decided to take the easiest way out instead of performing a true search.
