I'm assuming that means they're going to set up each stadium to meet new audio/video requirements for the SECN.

I don't think the wiring is in regard to basketball, baseball, or football. These sports already have the infrastructure to accommodate ESPN broadcasts. More for the Olympic sports like soccer, softball, tack and field, swimming.

All chair-back with arm rests with cup-holders. Do it.

Did he really say getting to the stadium was not a problem? No, no it's not if you have a police escort!!! Contra flow will only work if they do something about those red lights making all the traffic stop and go off campus when leaving the game. Who the hell did they survey about all of this?

River Road should be transformed into a 4-lane highway from downtown all the way to Gardere. Cut off that huge bend in the river.

4 lane Nicholson all the way to Gardere and have it tie in seamlessly with River Road.

this is absolutely ridiculous. not only will everybody's cable/satellite bills go up, but ticket prices will too. what a joke.

I hope LSU didnt waste another 10K on coming up with a plan for traffic flow only to have it uncoordinated and no cohesion.

I'm not understanding this sudden focus on traffic.
More fans attended games 3-4 years ago and there wasn't near the traffic nightmare that occurred last year.

It was simply not coordinated. Signs indicate go this way, travel down the road, cop points to go anothers way and you eventually wind up at the same point again.

I don't think LSU took away 5K parking spots to cause such gridlock.

Install electronic signs indicating lots are full or near capacity. Have all traffic personel on the same page. It seemed like there was a disconnect with LSU police and EBR police hired for the game where traffic should go.

Saying there was a "dis-connect" regarding traffic control...is putting it mildly ! Virtually EVERY game, officers would change lane closures, alter contra-flow OR not implement it at all....mostly standing around their cruisers, in small groups chatting, texting, phoning !

That appears to be the consesus of those I talked to who experienced traffic problems arriving to park. I'm wondering why LSU is not trying to streamline this process instead of spending another 10k on a traffic study.

Bottom line, more fans attended games 3-4 yrs ago and didn't experience the traffic headaches that occurred last season.
