You mean a career position coach like Dabo? That guy just won a national title. There are other coaches who failed in their first gigs as HC and then became successful.
You act like you're a fricking Mensa member and clearly you're not.
Hiring coaches is not an exact science. Orgeron was a reasonable choice after the top two were off the table.

Dabo Sweeney wasnt a 55 year old career position coach.
Dabo was the play caller during his interim tenure.
When Clemson hired Dabo they had zero top 20 finishes since 2000 and hadn't won the acc since 1991.
If you cant see the difference between the 2 situations then youre dumb.
LSU is one of the premier programs in cfb and has had 1 of the 4-5 best decades in cfb since 2003.
Clemson hadnt won a conf title since 1991.
Its also glorious watching you Orgeron lovers bring up the 1 and only time something this dumb has worked out well. I can list a plethora of time where unqualified coaches were given jobs and failed miserably.

How the hell was it reasonable for one of the premier programs in cfb to hire a 55 year old career position coach that has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program.
Only someone thats football ignorant can make that claim. There are literally dozens of coordinators and hc more qualified than Ed Orgeron.

Spot on. Going from Herman and Jimbo to the worst coach in ole miss history just shows how much of a clown Alleva is.
