You sure seem to be. Or, are you a tranny or something like that?

I swear, many of our fans act like they are hoping Alleva screws up the hire so they can be "right".

People did the exact same thing with Miles. They would rather see him fail so they can say "I told you he wasn't the right guy" than see him succeed and they be wrong.

Our fans are idiots.

How many times is this topic going to be posted?

That was his point. It is a valid question. Don't get your panties in a wad.

No. I am pretty sure that you are the dumbest.
Do you have a crystal ball? Are you Nostradamus?
You can see into the future?

Alleva needs a personality transplant but he's certainly not dumb as you suggest.

Anyway, thanks for posting your opinion. It can be added to the hundreds more like it.

Actually, it's just you.

There's a difference between stating the obvious and rooting for someone to fail. Most of us who stated the obvious wanted Miles and Alleva to succeed, but we also figured they wouldn't because it was pretty obvious they wouldn't.

I got no joy in watching my alma mater get embarrassed on 1/9/12 even though it was obvious Miles vs. Saban was a matchup of a remedial student against a valedictorian. It did not make me happy to see Miles fail that night. Just as it did not make me happy to see Alleva fail when he whiffed on two negotiations and hired the defensive line coach who would not have gotten an interview if he was Joe Smith from Utah.

Which is also why it was "a joke" when Alleva said last week "fit is a joke" when asked about the fit for a particular basketball coach. Alleva hired Orgeron primarily because he was a fit. So I think it's quite understandable we have no faith on Alleva's decision on the next coach.

You're one of the idiots.

Firing Mes was stupid. Those of us who know this are already validated by comprehensive statistics.

Alleva only turned to Orgeron - his 3rd choice,

At no point should a 55 year old career dline coach that has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program be an AD'S 3rd choice at a program like lsu. Would ed orgeron be interviewed at bama if Saban left? Ohio state? Hell no.

How about we wait to complain until the hire is made at least?

It's hilarious that some of you pretend he doesn't already have a record of hiring coaches and that people are just looking for things to worry about.

Some people want to take both sides of the ALLEVA hire of The Orgeron.
On the one hand they think it is a great hire, which will return LSU to elite status.
If so, you should be a HUGE Alleva fan.
He saw a head coach talent that nobody else in the country saw, and hired him at a fraction of the salary that other, qualified candidates would have commanded.
If, you believe in the hire, go ahead and support Alleva for his other worldly genuis in seeing what was hidden from everybody else. You cannot possibly now support firing Alleva after such a masterstroke.

How often does an AD get fired, anywhere, for on-field performance issues?

AD's leave because...

1) They retire
2) They get a job at a larger university
3) They have a falling out with the chancellor
4) There is a major scandal / NCAA compliance issues

They are not going to fire JA because he makes another bad hire. And no other SEC would do that as well, despite some of them having very mediocre programs.

To me, JA should never have been hired because of the Duke lacrosse mess. And I think he SHOULD be fired if the football and basketball hires turn south... but he won't be.

A friend of mine and I were just talking about that we are probably stuck with Alleva for awhile.
