Riley Cooper was robbed.

Not trying to downgrade Floyd, but Cooper had 3 saves and a win, while Floyd had one great outing and one where we lost.

I thought Cooper had a legit shot at MVP.

It was all LSU and UF players.

Pretty sure UF's catcher, SS, and two outfielders (Evans, Lankford)

LSU - Morgan, Dugas, White, Crews, Skenes, Floyd, and Beloso

I hear this, but Floyd did set a record for most K's in a single CWS - it's hard to not give a spot to Floyd. I just thought they should have also added Cooper on top of that.

Once again, 27 strikeouts in two games for Floyd is amazing and deserving of a spot.

I just thought Cooper was every bit as important.

It’s absolutely ridiculous they only take two pitchers. Cooper should have been on an all tournament team.

They should have 2-3 select spots for starting pitchers and 1-2 for relievers.

When’s the last time it was 100% players from only the finals?

Kind of crazy no wake players made it. Usually there’s a few pre finals players

But wake forest fans said they had the better team, the best team ever. Not one player made the all tournament team?!

fricking Ty Evans. Dude hits 4 homeruns all season and drops 5 in the CWS.

Well if that’s the case why did they give the MOP to a guy that didn’t e em play in finals?

Ty had a fantastic two outings in the CWS. He ran into a tight zone that all but disappeared in the 6th inning against Wake Forest after he had shut them down and struck out 10 batters through 5.

Then absolutely shoved for 8 innings with 17 strikeouts. Which the 27 strikeouts in the CWS was a record. Cooper's 3 saves and a win is definitely impressive and was the unsung hero for sure but the fact of the matter is starters are going to get more recognition because of the longer outings and numbers they put up. And although I agree Cooper had an outside shot for MOP it is not shocking Floyd being on there because of the performances he gave.
