Hey, to each his on. However, an all-time LSU football team picked by a consensus of fans, media and alumni would include Casanova, Cannon, Dorsey, Bert Jones and Reed. Remember you can't judge on stats alone but each players contribution to their particular team, their particular era. Those five guys transcend all eras of Tiger football and will for decades to come.

Not to mention Alexander.

This thread is sad and funny at the same time.

Alexander was special but I did not mention him because he would not be a lock as a starter on the all-time team. If you stick to the traditional 2 backs starting, Cannon is a lock IMHO. The second back would be open for a great debate. It would be interesting to see who would get the consensus vote. Alexander, Taylor, Hilliard, Faulk, Hester, Addai, Toefield, Vincent,James,B.Davis, Scott,D. Davis, Robiske and Stovall would all draw some votes. I expect Alexander, Faulk and Hilliard would lead the pack.
I would personally have to consider that further before deciding among those three. But Cannon is still the lock of locks.

Its like you deliberately left off the greatest players in LSU history.
