Blair Barbier/ Warren Morris - baseball - two of the nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, LSU down to the core!!!
Pete Maravich - basketball - My Grandfather said he stakes his life on PM was the greatest BB player to ever play the game, pro or college..Cant argue with Grandpops..
Kevin Faulk/Matt Flynn/Jacob Hester - Cannot choose between these 3, guys who gave everything they had and knew LSU was bigger than any one player..
Damn it's great to be a freaking Tiger isn't it?!!!!1

you pick em- Basket ball
Henry Thomas- Football
Chad Ogea- Baseball
because I met them, their story is unique, they were both under rated and had nice pro careers.

Baseball-Todd Walker. Best hitter I have ever seen at LSU. Joey Belle is my 2nd favorite. Only hitter I ever saw intimidate an entire pitching staff while hitting BP.

There's only 1 answer for Basketball: LINK
After the Pete and Press era, Dale Brown sat down and charted all the Maravich field goals - calculating distance from the basket. Had the 3 point line existed back then, Maravich would have averaged 57 points per game.

Basketball:
Shaq without a doubt. The Shaq years at LSU mean a lot to me. I had just recently moved to Huntsville, AL and was having a lot of issues at that age and LSU football sucked big time. I can't tell you how awesome it was that LSU basketball became such a media favorite during that time. I could always count on watching a basketball game and see Shaq do something remarkable that everyone would be talking about at school. And I met him also after his freshman year when I was at LSU's football camp. He was pretty cool and very large.
Football:
My dad. Richard Jones, #86. 1964-67.
Baseball:
I can't treally name a specific player, but for the same reasons as I loved basketball so much in the early 90's, I also loved following LSU baseball.
