All is very quiet on the "what bowl are we going to" speculation front...

I don't ever remember being one day away from finding out officially what bowl LSU is playing in and seeing so little discussion or speculation about it. And nobody seems to have any inside info about which bowl it will be, media or otherwise.

Did I miss something earlier in the week....or is it still pretty much a toss up among the Liberty, Tax Slayer, Outback, and Citrus?

honestly, none of those bowls mean much anymore. there is not a lot of excitement outside of the race for the playoff spots. kind of shitty, really....

All hope is lost. Orgeron accepted a call from the President of Taiwan. Angered the bowl selection comittee.

I agree with the bowls not meaning much. When you have been to the mountaintop, albeit a decade ago, anything but the playoffs is crap. A very tiny part of me waxes nostalgic over the days when receiving an Independence Bowl invite was like the best Christmas present ever....

Honestly, it's incredibly hard to get excited for our projected bowl/s knowing the talent we had coming back and what our expectations were.

I've just grown so tired of being let down by LSU football recently

I would love to see LSU-FSU in the Citrus.

Well it depends on who wins the conference championships. If Florida goes to the Sugar than Auburn could play in the Citrus. If not, LSU likely does.

The Citrus will be Louisville or the Big 10 conference loser as the opponent

Would love to see a Citrus matchup with Louisville. Understand feeling let down by a Citrus Bowl bid with the talent on this team but those who say they could care less and won't watch are the ones who bash LSU at every turn anyway. As frustrated as i have been this year I can guarantee you I will be watching and pulling for LSU

yes. Most likely Citrus Bowl vs. Louisville, assuming they finish below FSU in the CFP poll next week. FSU to the Orange Bowl if that happens. UF to the Outback Bowl assuming they lose to Bama. UF was in Citrus Bowl last year. If VTech upsets Clemson today, who we play in the Citrus probably changes.

Looks like Citrus vs Louisville or Outback vs Nebraska

Since you mentioned it, though, can someone tell me why Florida State is ranked ahead of Louisville? Same record (9-3), Louisville has better conference record (7-1 vs 5-3), and Louisville beat FSU like 100-0.

I would really like LSU-FSU in Citrus, but it appears FSu to Orange since they are ranked above louisville

I remember that very well....don't want to ever be that shitty again, but I sure do miss the days when we allowed ourselves to enjoy things a little more!

Relevant teams are playing meaningful games while irrelevant LSU waits on another mid to bottom tier invite.

There are great games on. Watching several now.

Who cares military academy will embarrass us in a crap bowl?

Alleva not only sucked the life out of the program with the O hire, but also out of the fans.
