Pictured below Bregman is wearing a purple and gold "rake city" shirt, and so is the guy next to him with a navy and silver one...earlier in the season Bregman posted a "raking soda" shirt on instagram, is this a brand he came up with that for NCAA purposes he isn't making public yet? Or can you buy these somewhere?

Rake is a baseball term when someone hits the ball often/hard.

A guy who "rakes" just hits line drives, or hits bb's all over the field.

I had no idea Bregs and his team would market the phrase; what a huge FU to the people who dogged him so mercilessly on Twitter last year. Talk about the last laugh.

The facebook page says that "RakeCity" is based in New Mexico, so I assume Bregman and maybe his family or something are the ones behind it. However, their twitter page has a lot of tweets from DeMarini including one that makes it seem like DeMarini is actually the one making the shirts.

Rake City is the name of the hitting facility/baseball academy in his hometown back in New Mexico and run by a former LSU Tiger.
