The streak was kind of broken in 2007

LSU led in total attendance thanks to playing 4 more home games than Arkansas.

Arkansas led in average attendance by more than 700 tickets sold per game.

I hate to say this but that new facility at UF is really big and nice. It will be difficult to keep up with them unless LSU makes some changes,

Alex Box: 25 years leading the nation in attendance.....

Hey look, another Pump Lump trying to blow smoke up everybody's wazoo in an attempt to sugarcoat the LSU baseball dysfunctional decline. That's Paid/Tickets sold, NOT actual butts in the seats.

Yall are taking up space on here Pumping and Cheerleading in an attempt to tow the company line. It's not going to work.

BTW, the LSU Baseball decline is Real, but's it's not so Spectacular!

it’s really nice of Arkansas to “tow the LSU company line” too

Razorbacks finish 2nd in attendance for shortened college baseball season

everybody counts tickets sold as their attendance number.

You think they’d still lead the nation when they’ll be 1-8 in conference after next weekend? The political butt hurt on this board is beyond reason. Everything is a politician’s fault.
Maybe focus on the shitty performance of the team?!

Paul got swept 3 times in conference play, missed the SECT and a regional in 2011. LSU still led the country in attendance - by a wide margin.

because we won a championship a couple of seasons before, and the tickets were purchased before the season. LSU counts tickets sold plus walkup. We led the country when smoke was coaching. nobody went but the tickets were sold..

Yes. They lead the nation on season ticket sales alone.

And they won’t be swept this weekend.

A better indicator is the demand for season tickets. Many sports fans renew their tickets even in down years and aren't eager to abandon their teams. Wait lists disappearing and renewals from long term ticket holders taking a steep drop are better indicators of the general fan's long range view.
My point is that the missing fans will come before the drop in demand from season ticket holders. It’s the first thing to go.

they sell over 10,000 season tickets every year, so yes without the restrictions, they would still have led the nation again.

Would rather be a has been, than a never was. Our past is glorious and surpassed by only USC all time in terms of Natty's. No one else in the SEC can put up the Intimidator...we'll be back.

Hang on to your national attendance banners and blame politicians and accept a losing record in SEC play right? Seems like something to shoot for.

LSU baseball is gonna draw fans even if they are losing all the games, atleast for a year or two. I will admit the Box is already looking dated. Paul needs to step aside or stay on as the official boss and bring in a younger more motivating underboss type coach. the talent is there but idk I can't put my finger on it.

Every school announces attendance as tickets sold. That is an NCAA rule and not some LSU plot to avoid announcing actual butts in seats.

In 2019, a pal of mine went to a Vandy midweek game in late April and counted less than 200 fans in the stands. That's National Champion Vanderbilt.

in attendance

Debatable.
Are we talking paid tickets or butts in seats?
If it's butts in seats, then no.
