This article doesn't even give any other team a chance of beating Alabama this year. I don't know why I read these things and put myself in a bad mood. God I hate Saban and everything he stands for.

Did you hate Saban when he won the mnc at LSU?
I like to poke fun at the guy but theres no arguing with his results as a CF coach. His methods work well at that level.

the article to this point in the season is not untrue, they have undoubtedly been the best team so far this season. No reason to hate, we just have to bring our A game and take care of business.

Also, why do you hate Saban - he excels at what he does, there is no reason to hate the guy.

They'll have to change their tune after we beat them sat and take two of the last three.

The home team is due.

They do not commit penalties.
They have a productive offense.
They have a top 5 defense.
They never have problems getting offensive plays called.
They never have problems with too many or not enough players on the field, as everyone knows where they should be and when.

Yep, I can see a reason to hate a coach that actually has discipline and is the chief executive officer for his team.

I dont hate Saban because he is a good coach. I dont hate Bama cause they are a good team. I love LSU therefore I cant get the warm fuzzies over our biggest rival.
But, having not read the article, Saban does a great job of having his team ready to play. They play very disciplined football, and I am sure that is a product of how the ENTIRE program is ran there. I think we could use a dose of that!

Whats the problem? They have proven to be the best team out there. They look the part. We dont at the moment.

We can still win though.

Wanting this as a tiger fan will make you a negatiger on this board. If we were good at just these 2 things we would be favored, undefeated, and #1.

Yeah, the guy left for an opportunity in the nfl, and everyone hates him because he didn't stay at lsu for the rest of his life, get over it. Hate bama, that makes sense. And to the op who says he hates everything saban stands for, that's moronic

disagree, Oregon and K-State have looked just as dominant in every game. Oregon against a similar SOS and K-State against a tougher one.

Reality is Bama's schedule has been fairly soft compared to the rest of the top 8 or so teams. They have Miss St(who had the 112th SOS going into the Bama game) and a 3-loss Michigan team to hang their hat on. Bama is a great team, but they aren't the only team to be dominant in every game this year. Reality is Bama's "dominance" is a product of the equity the SEC has built up over the past 7 years. Truth is if this exact Bama team was around in 2004 they wouldn't make the championship game, similar to the way Auburn didn't make it as an undefeated.

All that said, I believe Alabama would beat Oregon and K-State if they played, but I also think LSU, Florida, and S.Carolina would as well. I am not sold on UGA's defense so not sure about them. That's just me though.

With regard to articles like these, just chalk it up to Bama is the flavor of the decade. They are the USC of early 2000s old football power that is good again, shits gold and does no wrong. At the end of the day, LSU is still 3-3 against Bama under Saban and if we win Sat. we will have won 3 of the last 4.

Everyone on the rant wants these, some just choose to acknowledge that we are a work-in-progress and tryy to be positive about the direction of the program and others choose to completely disregard all success LSU has seen under Miles as "luck" and pretend that the program is a dumpster fire.

the so called " positive" fans choose to put sown the players and not the coaches. How positive is that?

After 4 years, great recruits, and 3 different qbs when do the "positive" fans begin to realize it may be a coaching problem?
No where in this post did I suggest we need a new headcoach, I want to keep miles. I have to clarify that bc that is what most posters will infer. Need changes on the offensive side of the ball.

It is not that he left LSU it is the way he left LSU. There is nothing wrong with saying " no comment", but when you stand up and say that you have no interest in a job and then announce on Christmas Eve that you are now taking the job and then mail in the last game you coach it leaves a bad taste. The fact that he then took the coaching position of the program that is hated most by the majority of our fan base was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

We all know that Saban was a great coach when he was here and is still a great coach at Bama. He is like that person who used to be your friend but always lied and now you can not trust him and that has led to hate.

Bear Bryant excelled at his craft and every Tiger fan hated his arse. Why should we like Saban? He is the HC at what is, at present, our biggest rival. He stands in our way.

I appreciate everything he did for LSU but he is Gump by his own choices. I don't like Gumps.

LSU don't get your hopes up to high. I saw what Bama did to Mississippi State. Bama has it all. I don't see any weakness on this Bama team anywhere. And for sure they don't have any problems in the red zone.
