Thanks for the contribution cornholio,

No problem. Bama will have QB struggles, and Ole Miss is just not deep enough, they will be slightly above average, but certainly not great.

I really think Ole Miss will lay an egg against Alabama and LSU. Alabama's defense is legit and will be the reason they beat Ole Miss. I'm expecting something around 24-21. I expect LSU to win, but I think it will be a tremendous game. LSU 35-31.

HARDEST QUESTION TO ANSWER

I look at Ole Miss and think they've got the 2nd best QB in the SEC and a rising D. Plus they have that favorable schedule. Then there's Bama which will have a better defense, but a new QB under center.

I'll go with Bama. Until Nutt lives up to expectations I'll go with someone who has...Saban.

I wish your question was more specific as to biggest threat to do what. Which is a bigger threat to beat LSU or which is the bigger threat to win the SEC West? Then again, I guess it does not matter. My answer is the same.

Ole Miss fans might disagree, but on paper, the Rebel schedule is setting up pretty good for them. Their biggest issue is that they get their open week right away after the first game. Then, they have 11 Saturdays to play in a row.

Their conference road games are at So Car, Vandy, Auburn and Miss St. Only MSU and Auburn are SEC West foes. That's got to be the best-looking road schedule in the SEC!! The Rebels should find themselves favored in all four. They get to play Bama, Ark, Tenn and LSU at home! I think that LSU will beat them at Oxford. I also hope that Vandy or the Cocks will knock them off early. If so, I hope they beat Bama!!

Unfortunately, I believe that Bama's conference schedule has got to be pretty good-looking to them, as well. They play at UK, Ole Miss, MSU and Auburn. The game at Oxford is their only real threat. The Bama home schedule looks a little soft, with the exception of LSU. They get Arkansas, So Car, Tenn and LSU at home. I don't see them being seriously challenged at home except for LSU. The best feature of their schedule (from Bama's point of view) has got to be the week off to get ready for LSU.

LSU's schedule is miserable compared to either Bama's or Ole Miss's. If the Tigers can get to the off date at 5-1, they'll be poised to make a run at winning the SEC West. At 6-0, they'll be looking to make a run to Pasadena! I expect 4-0, then consecutive games at UGA and home with UF? They need to win one of those, or they'll need to beat both Bama and Ole Miss on the road to have a chance.

In conclusion, I think that Bama is the biggest threat. I think that playing 11 games in a row will be too tough on Ole Miss. I see them losing three conference games, even if they manage to beat Bama. I can only hope that Bama loses two conference games and that LSU administers their customary beating at their place!

Geaux Tigers!!!!
