Kevin Scarbinsky is a hater

This guy probably sleeps with an Alabama teddy bear at night.

This p#sses me off as much as anything about the TM7 dismissal. Those Gumptards actually believe that they had the magic formula on how to stop Mathieu. They truly believe that a couple of very well thrown passes that the receivers made great plays on meant that Tyrann was a liabilty in pass coverage. That's a bunch of BS, and I was so looking forward to this year when they tried to "target" Mathieu and one slightly underthrown pass would turn into an interception.

Not to mention that AJ McCarron panicked everytime TM7 blitzed in the first game and he just ducked right into the interior rush just to not get a sack/strip from Mathieu. He didn't get the stat for the sack, but at least twice (once in overtime) when Mathieu blitzed LSU got a sack because McCarron didn't even look downfield to pass.

Mulligan

Everyone outside of Alabama and the National Media knows who the real best team was last year.

He really had one bad game in like 14 games. Some of you people need to sit down and watch all the games again. Go follow each player and I guarantee you that tryann played better than 90 percent of the players if you watch every game.

They cant. None of the dumbasses remember the great games he played. They remember the last game he played. That's the sad part about the TM thing to me, the last game we could have potentially seen him in the P&G was his worst.

I wonder what he thought of Trent Rchardson's performances against LSU? He wasn't exactly performing at Heisman levels either. It is easier togameplan to take a defensive back and kick returner out of the game than it is a tailback. Yes, McCarron completed some passes thrown to the man covered by Matthieu. And he made great throws on every one of those passes. The funny thing about pass defense is that if the offense executes perfectly there is nothing hte defensive back can do about it. And Alabama deeserves credit for their execution. It's not like Matthieu blew any coverages.

This is what happens when you know you are the greatest. I should drop a huge load off on their campus the next time I drive through Tuscalossa.

I wrote my first response without reading the article. I just tried to read the article, and I had to stop after about 5 sentences.

The hate from the Alabama fanbase for Tyrann Mathieu is the most retarded thing I have ever seen. They loathe him, and they let their Gumptardness make them blind to how great of a player he really is. If they truly think that he didn't have an impact in the first game, then they know absolutely nothing about football, which they don't. Can't they acknowledge that the 2nd greatest coach in the history of college football (according to them) might have actually gameplanned to stay away from #7 at all cost in the first matchup? Can't they wrap their Gumparse head around the fact that their offense did absolutely nothing in the first game, 6 stinking points, and a large part of that is because they had to find #7 before every play and make sure they had people blocking him???

This. That TM was a liability in the BCS game is so overblown, it's pitiful. What did he give up? 4 completions? No TDs.

Nobody played at their best that night. LSU disappeared that night...not just Mathieu.

It really cracks me up how he all of a sudden can't cover anyone because he was dismissed or because of one game. I guess Miles can't coach anymore either after 1/9.

Gumps gonna gump. I gave up trying to reason with them years ago.

You want to have some fun go to the SECr and post that TM7 was better than Javier Arenas...

New flash to all the blow hard Gump media, LSU defense was out of gas. They played the whole freaking game. Go back and look at all the replays. Mathieu was right there in coverage just great throws and great catches. It is over, let it be for the love of God!
