So you are not going to follow through, eh? I figured as much. Just bitching without any real reason to bitch.

it is pretty obvious to anyone that reads this that you and I are talking about two TOTALLY different things now .. so you wanna bet something on these ratings ??

Simply what most of this thread has been about, zippy. You should possibly understand what you agree to. But yep, I am all for it. If you believe anything you have stated, prove it ....by betting.

it is pretty obvious that the bet is about which event will have higher TV ratings. You seem to think the Cap 1 will trump all non-bcs, and it will certainly trump the lowly Cotton Bowl. I believe you even said the NHL would have more viewers than the Cotton Bowl that night.

Roger is calling shenanigans, bullshite, nonsense, etc. He has asked you to put your money where your mouth... err post is. $200 is the proposed sum, and I believe Roger has even made proposed it be a charitable/ charity thing (tax deductible maybe?).

If you are soooo confident that the Cap 1 will have higher TV ratings, pony up. I'm sure if you would like to make it less Roger would oblige. Mike Gundy is a man, he is 40. You are almost 40 (37), will you man up?

Tell you what, Rog .. we'll go off of the Nielsen ratings on all bowl games which should be out on or around January 12th .. If the Cotton Bowl rates higher than the Cap One, I'll never post on Tigerdroppings again .. not one board .. zilch .. If the Cap One rates higher than the Cotton Bowl .. same for you .. you stop posting on Tiderdroppings .. no alters .. nothing .. you game ?

Game. I had proposed another wager but if this fits what you want to do better, then it is done. As a man of my word, will back this up 100%.

Capital one sucks arse and so does michigan state. I'm happy to play T. A&M. Huge recruiting implications.

Just trying to help clear up the confusion.

FWIW, I think the charity thing is a much better idea. Maybe volunteer hours instead of money (if that is the issue) because lords know neither one of you will stay away from this site forever. 76605 posts (2005) & 22309 posts (2009)

I still haven't figured out why some fans so desperately wanted to go to the Cotton when we'll be in that stadium for Labor Day weekend.

Well it probably doesn't make much difference but at least we'll be familiar with the stadium when we play Oregon in a non conference game that is as big as it gets. Maybe they'll be too busy checking out their uniforms on the jumbotron
