It is incredible that this team can lose at home to Auburn.

All teams have bad losses. UGA has been solid this season and has been a very gritty team. They dropped a home game to Auburn yesterday as well. Every tournament team not named Kentucky is going to have some wtf losses.

Patterson needs to run the point and this team might make some noise

Patterson hasn't run the point without Gray in the game. Why do you suddenly need him to do this?

How many of you are beating your chest about how horrible CJJ is?

We'll be in the round of 32 at the least.

Not to mention can't wait till Simmons and Blakeney get here, and we have an fricking platoon of a bench next year. "CJJ isn't a good coach, Simmons and Co make his Job easy!!!!

Go Tigers. It's a fun season to keep riding on
cJJ doesn't sub, and it isn't because he doesn't have players who can hold their own. He has been a sub par game coach and LSU shooting 70% from 3 point range for a half doesn't change that.

I like JJ. He's learning some hard lessons. When we fold it usually is because this team goes in a panic and starts rushing. That's why timeouts are crucial. Lets see what happens next.

I like coach Jones, I think by tourney time we will be battle tested having played in so many close games. I kill for this team to close out the season strong.

It's called being excited. As a fan base, majority of the people on here assume LSU is playing for multiple national titles in next 2-3 seasons. Ain't happening.

We go out and almost beat UK and crush TN but we go out and lay an egg against Auburn and Missouri. That comes down to coaching.

You're right. Auburn and Missouri were early, Kentucky and Tennessee were late. The team is improving as the season progresses. Sounds like good coaching.

Honestly, I'm an outsider for basketball. Not very knowledgeable. But my point stands.

Eta: I was one of those complaining about another second half collapse during the Tennessee game. Not on here but with my friends.

It takes a great coach to build a great team, such as hiring assistants and not letting arm chair coaches run your team !

Yet no one blames Calipari when he does the EXACT same thing and lets lsu go on a 16-0 run.

And that was part of a 21-2 run. May not see another team do that to UK this season. That's what's so frustrating about these Tigers. Plenty of ability but loss of focus, intensity and poor execution have cost them 4 or 5 losses that are inexcusable, not only to the Tiger fan-base but to the voting media. JJ has to take a large role in that responsibility. Hopefully, the turnaround we've seen the past three games continues.

I'm happy with the progress the last 3 games, but I think it took a bit longer than it should have.

I truly hope the progress continues, but I think some of the criticism earlier was justified.

Still some chicken left on the bone, let's take care of business before we throw too many bouquets.

Geaux Tigers!!

CJJ will bring in talent but he needs to learn how to coach the Xs and Os a little better.
He's not going to learn any X's & O's a little better. JJ is a finished product. What you see right now is what you get. When you get to this level, you should pretty much already know the X's & O's. LSU/SEC is no place for on-the-job training...........

I am all for Coach Jones succeeding, and the team played a great first half. The second half was very hard to watch; we played dumb basketball. The team needs to be consistent to have any type of success in the SEC tournament and beyond. The talent level has obviously increased and should be even better next year.
