After seeing Miles' presser and the faces of the players I feel a little better

about the whole deal. Les looked pissed and every player looked like they just got worked over by there own parents. Jefferson looked very embarrassed and like he was about to cry. No matter what happens I really think this whole ordeal is going to bring this team closer together. Also, if Jefferson gets cleared I really hope some of the idiots here take a long look in the mirror. I've been here since the beginning of TD and I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. It's actually quite sad.

Not being sarcastic, but what say you if Jefferson is indeed implicated after Monday?

JJ's NFL prospects were marginal at best before last Thursday night.
Now they may be 0.0

Of course he looks like he could cry, he may be multi level marketing with CTIII sooner rather than later

Well, we still don't know exactly what happened so why are you shocked people are defending the players?

He will never be cleared of showing a total lack of leadership by breaking curfew. When the Sr. QB of a team that has very high expectations betrays his coach's trust, he earns the disdain of the fanbase.

I'm holding my judgement until I know everything possible. If it wasn't so out of character for Jefferson I'd probably feel different about it right now.

We have 6 ppl giving sworn statements to the police that the players committed a crime

We have no players giving statements in defense

We have JJ lying to his dad.

We have Miles saying players were wrong

You do the math

I agree. Some of these posters are an embarrassment to LSU. For a mere bar fight, many of these posters would like to scar the lives of these young men. They made a mistake. These posters should not throw rocks in their own glasshouses. But, at the same time, I sympathize with the victims and the injured. If you were not there, how can you justify your opinions based on hearsay, rumors, gossip and theory. I know that Les Miles is disappointed in his players and more importantly, these families of these young men are sadden also by these events. There are many people who are affected by this event on and off the field, within the university and the families at home. Some of you have been waiting for a Les Miles incident to force him to leave or a Jefferson incident to get him to relinquish his QB duties. My hope is that neither happens and we have a GREAT season. My other hope and prayer is that the injured of this activity has a speedy recovery.

People have been hating him for a few years now. Also, there were a shitload of players there and many that are considered leaders.

All I need to know is that the sr qb on a potential national championship team is breaking curfew and not leading.

JJ should be done.

There is never an excuse for kicking someone on the ground

JJ's rep before Krag's came in was a guy with incredible physical tools for any position other than QB, a terrible accuracy problem and an aversion to the film room. His whole extreme makeover this summer was about resetting those perceptions.

He quite possibly blew himself up last Thursday night and anyone should expect more out of a senior leader with so much to prove
