Good luck finding a replacement for a successful coach. It's been frustrating to watch the offense at times, but recruiting is bound to suffer . Most high school coaches and recruits love the guy. We'll probably suffer. Look at Tennessee and Nebraska.

As for me, I'll MarchforLes.

I want Jimbo.

If we can't get Jimbo, then keep Les.

Eventually it's going to happen. Why not now?

Have we really been groomed to think 8 win seasons are good?

Unless we get another good recruiter

Look at the talent coming out of Tennessee and Nebraska. Now look at the talent coming out of LSU.

Now look at Nebraska and Tennessee again. Now look at LSU.

Have you noticed a difference? Do you think it is just because Les is liked by coaches? or do you think a good recruiter + home team advantage + talent rich state = Success

I think Jimbo can keep the thing moving. Recruit well, win a lot of games, have us competing for the West every 2-3 years, beating Alabama when we get them at home.

That kind of stuff. I'm not interested in going for a boom or bust guy like Chip Kelly.

I think it's mostly the older fans who still remember 20 years ago like it was yesterday. I've constantly seen people talk about LSU being historically bad like we haven't been an elite team for 15 years.

Interesting. After much debate about firing Les, I think it's in LSU's best interests to let him go.

9...it's safe to assume we beat McNeese. Bowl win...you are looking at another 10 win season.

We'd compete immediately with Jimbo here. Passing game, Fournette/Guice, we'd be scoring 40+ per game. The defense will finally has the time it needs to get back to full strength. If Miles can sit on his arse and bang his head for 7-8 wins, I'm pretty sure an offensive genius in Jimbo with experienced and talented players could win 10 or 11 games next year.

LSU is not Tennessee. LSU is not Nebraska. LSU is not Miami. I don't know why all you people think it is.

Yes, because Les has had no problems securing bowl wins recently. I love how some of you are almost considering these automatic wins despite recent history.

You talking about 10 years ago boss? Ten years ago Miles was actually a good coach. The script has flipped. We haven't had competent QB play but one year since Jimbo's QBs left, and he was a RS senior JUCO with two NFL WRs.

If we need NFL players just to have a competent college passing game, we are doing something extremely wrong. Get a guy in here that shits good QB play, and I guarantee LSU improves greatly.

Yea right , that would be a catastrophic act by LSU .. They gotta show that hardheaded stubborn no imagination back in the 60s offense coach out the door !!
