With some adjustments, possibly. Playing against better than average teams things will need to change.

We can absorb a loss as long as we beat bama.

It's too early to tell but, I think Alabama is.

November 6 is going to one hell of a football game.

I agree. LSU would have destroyed Michigan ,if they are the #8 team in the country then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Be patient,LSU played a vanilla game plan,I think you will see more of a vertical passing game next week against Washington and less of the bubble screen, with a healthy dose of smashmouth running.LSU tends to play down a bit to the competition ,so next week we step it up . (remember LSU destroyed #3 Oregon last year's opener).

There was not much pressure from our D line last night. Very disconcerting.

For those salivating over Bama.

While Bama looked good, McCarron had several incompletions a couple when the WR was wide open (one in the endzone), multiple dropped balls, Lacy fumbled and QB got sacked 2-3 times.

We only gave up 143 yards thru the air, 80 of that on one blown play. We gave up about 90 yards on the ground...two days after a hurricane, in a game no one gave a shite about. It was over by the end of the first quarter. We'll be fine.

If you care, we gave up 40 more yards to N. Texas last night than Bama did last year when they played them.

No. I predict at least 2 losses maybe 3 in regular season. And a loss if we go to a major bowl.

Bums me

Now that shite is funny...

quote:

- that we put up over 500 yards of total offense (biggest offensive output since '07)
- that we rushed almost 350 yards
- that our QB was 19/26 for almost 200 yards in his first start
- that we kicked the other team's arse
- that Wisconsin, South Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma all struggled this week
- that we played the game two days after a hurricane.

I guess you and I were watching different games. I have my evaluation of what I saw but i elected not to elaborate on it. The sky isn't falling but if what you witnessed in that game gives you the confidence of us going undefeated, then we just see things differently. It will not surprise me if LSU loses 2 or 3 games this year. I will be surprised if they go undefeated. That to me is "keeping it real".

Not attacking or flaming, just curious as to why you see this team as such a downgrade from last year's team?

With that said, I take it that your response is that the Tigers will not lose multiple games and will go undefeated this year.

I don't know. Do you realize how fricking hard it is and how rare it is to go 14-0? I do know we have a very good team and regardless of what we say in last night's vanilla game, I'm not making sweeping projections based on that.

We could have dominated North Texas last night 80-0 and still lay an egg against Florida or Arkansas a few months from now. Stop over-reacting.

You are pathetic. Find a new team to cheer for, you goddamned vagina. So three losses, huh? List them, please. Also, define "major bowl". If we lose three games, tell what that bowl would be. Finally, you state that LSU will lose that bowl game, even though you don't even know the opponent. Sounds like you don't piss standing up.

I didn't say anything about going undefeated. I would never predict something like that. I just posted some stuff to keep it real.
