As we know, our game last night was canceled. That obviously means we didn’t have to use any pitching.

Last night Arkansas played a double header. We play Arkansas Thursday , not Friday, this week.

This has to be an advantage, how significant though?

They played UAPB. The combined score of the DH was 23-1. I doubt they used a lot of their better pitchers much at all.

It's not. Arkansas is a great team and will be fully rested.

Why did they play a double header on a Tuesday?

I don’t think winning just one and not taking the series is that bad considering it’s on the road against a very good team. The key here is to not get swept.

Heard on the radio here in AR that they were scheduled to play Tues./Wed. but decided to play the DH to give players a day off on Wed.

One guy threw 50+ pitches but he hadn't pitched all year. A few others threw 30+, but I'm sure they'd be fine for Thursday and/or Friday if needed. None of the others threw over 2 pitches. It sets up better for them than having to play Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat.

I hope we knock the hell out of their ace. His stats are good but he's nothing special.

If you win the first game you should be able to win game two or 3. They don’t have a ton of arms. So you have got to beat Noland

We’ll I just saw a tweet where Jay Johnson said about a quarter of the roster is pretty beat up. So unless Arkansas has half of their team pretty beat up I wouldn’t say we have the advantage

Not gonna lie, I got tricked into thinking LSU Baseball had turned a corner with series wins at Florida & at MSU. Turns out those 2 teams just aren't that good.. neither are ranked. We lost a series at home to Auburn who is ranked.

Hope the Tigers can win 1 game against a top 10 team in Fayetteville.

We haven’t even played a game since sweeping MSU in Starkville

I don't believe I said that we did. Miss St is unranked & at the bottom of SEC baseball standings. They're not good. Don't compare a sweep in starkville vs a series against a top 10 team in Fayetteville

Florida is ranked. They just won 2/3 from Arkansas last weekend.

Objectively there is not a weak team in the west. The hogs don't make a lot of mistakes, but are certainly beatable.

Minuscule advantage if at all. Arkansas has their weekend rotation identified. You can hope that the bat’s might be fatigued or conditioned to lesser pitching and might take a couple innings to adjust.
