A thousand bucks that people down voted you into oblivion as well bc you didn't carry the LSU water. Our fans have a serious case of the dumbass sometimes.

I saw this coming on 1-9-12. Mind-boggling to see so many well-intended but naive Tiger fans.

Nope...not me. I'm a wait and see guy. People would ask and I'd say I don't know, need to see the first game. And we all know how that turned out...

So just 4 short weeks ago I was running around Milwaukee and Green Bay telling Badger fans you guys are getting ready to face one of the most talented teams in LSU history. This team will play for it all in January

I was cautiously optimistic, with the amount of tallent and experience we had returning I was hoping for a banner year at the end of which Miles would retire with his head held high (like he could have if he retired after the A&M game).

I don't feel bad for him though, just the players.

Fell for it? I think a lot of people still said it hinges on qb play.

If every off season you are optimistic, you are bound to be let down.

But don't fool yourself, the expectations are high because of Miles' success. if LSU would have just tanked after saban, it would be a diff feel.

When the next coach comes in and doesn't win, then what?

This year did point to a run, but concerns on oline, and will Harris take the next step. This is why the season has failed. Neither were are good enough.

Nope. I emotionally disconnected when the Les love fest took place last year. I knew at that point we were officially headed down. I honestly didn't think it would tank this quickly although I had a sense of dread in the first quarter against whiskey. Pains me. But Les time is done. His stubbornness did him in. I wish him well.

I was against firing him, but when the wheels were in motion I felt you were at a point of no return.

I have zero faith in the administration to get this right.

Looking at the prediction threads, and all of the other natty talk before the season started is now laughable. I admit, I was sucked into giving it a slim chance

If you were sucked in then you were foolish. From the moment Les stated, immediately after almost being fired, that the "engine was pretty stinkin' strong", I knew nothing would change.
I also was in a wait and see about Aranda. Wisconsin played no one last year so those defensive stats were meaningless. The previous year they gave up 59 to Ohio State and 31 to an average Auburn team in the bowl. The rest of the schedule was garbage. I'm not saying that Aranda isn't good but he needs to prove it in the SEC. Moo U and Auburn are not offensive juggernauts.

I'm a wait and see guy

I was cursed with the ability to recognize futility early on.

Several times in my career I was pulled aside and told that I was right but that I had to learn to wait for others to catch up with me.

I never learned how to do that.

What I did learn was that it was a waste of time and resources when you don't recognize what is going on.

Nope. I haven't been excited about a season since 21-0. That as the night I learned we simply don't have the coach needed to keep LSU relevant.

I have no idea what percentage 'fell for it,' but I certainly thought Miles would get the offense in better shape.

The man came into the season knowing his job was on the line. He has failed to deliver.

But why in the world would you expect a different outcome, When Miles has been the source of sooo many of our problems.

Hook, line, and sinker. I wish Les was half as good a football coach as he is a self-promoting film flam man

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me
