Adjustments at halftime

I'll confess, I know next to nothing about coaching football, but I cannot remember Les Miles EVER winning a game by making "adjustments" (offense especially) after the first 15-30 minutes of a game. There never seemed to have ever been a "Plan B" in his arsenal, when Plan A didn't work. I don't think any college team, even with the best talent, can win a championship without the ability to adjust strategy mid-game.
Can anybody out there recall CLM doing this?

A Georgia game where we were getting pummeled and the second half was great defensively and much better offensively. May be the only time though.

Congrats. You're the only one on the Rant in this situation.

I remember him throwing to the tight end once after half.

Tyrann really helped turned that game around as well. Even though we eventually went on to win decisively

i'm no football coach but i'm pretty sure that's not allowed. at least that's what it appears to be by watching lsu. other teams that do it are cheating.

The next time he makes adjustments after the half, let alone at any point in the game, will be the first time he does it.

LOL WHY ARE YOU HERE THEN? This place is for people with 30+ years of mid major or higher coaching experience in every sport only

Best adjustments I've seen LSU make at halftime include...
2000 Peach Bowl vs Georgia Tech (3-14, 28-14)
2001 SECCG vs Tennessee (7-17, 31-20)
2002 vs South Carolina (6-14, 28-14)
2011 SECCG vs Georgia (7-10, 35-10)

"We couldn't sustain any consistency," Miles said. "The calls became much more difficult."
Miles never considered switching to backup quarterback Jarrett Lee, who started the first eight games for the Tigers -- four of those while Jefferson was serving a suspension for his involvement in a bar fight.
"We felt like with Jefferson's feet and the ability to get out of the rush, that it was fair that he finished," Miles said. "He certainly had a tremendously strong year in any regard. Boy, we wanted to finish this one. It's hard to finish a season that was so successful this way."

With game well in hand, Lee wasn't even allowed in on mop up duty. He was allowed to spike the ball on the last play of the game of a arse whooping. JJ had 30 total yards in first half and no first downs. Yet no change at QB was needed according to the coach.
