Whether or not he’s officially been named the starter is irrelevant

I don’t think it has much to do with anyone thinking they know more about football than coach, but I do think it has a good bit to do with peoples preference as to the type of quarterback they want.
You say running quarterback or a QB who can run and some LSU fans automatically begin to cringe at the thought. We have seen how dynamic the LSU passing game can be and some just want to see more of that style.
For me, as long as the chains move and LSU is successful, I don’t care about how it’s being done.

Those QBs do not normally work out to well. Running QB usually means they cannot throw for shite. Based on the mechanics I saw from the clips from Arizona State, we are in for a long year.

Well, after the results of the last two years, I wouldn’t find that surprising no matter the QB.
I guess we will begin to find out whether or not coach was worth that contract pretty quick.

I think most of us are confident Kelly will pick the best QB or QB combo for the Tigers to win games. And we'll pull for whoever's taking snaps.
You were doing OK until you said we have $hitty jobs/careers. I'm sure lots of us are doing all right in that department. We just want to see the best QB and team take the field this fall, and watch the Tigers kick arse.

It’s highly relevant. Saying you think [insert player] should start is not at all the same thing as saying you think you know better than Kelly, when Kelly hasn’t even named a starter yet.
