100% agree with OP.
I will trust them like this until they give me reason not to. I think one issue (besides just the general Rant attitudes) is that the previous staff gave us reasons not to trust them and (unfairly) that bleeds over to the next staff.
Plus it's fun to second guess people on the internet!

I hope he has a great year and I hope he’s our starting quarterback for next year Because he does so well. but I worry that our offensive line is not very good. I pray that I’m pleasantly surprised.
