Interesting beginning hypothesis and Shakesperean analogy but you need a third act.

Upvote nonetheless on the literary merits thus far

How did you forget the 2011 Oklahoma State-Iowa State game? An improbable event caused partially by an actual tragedy that set the rematch into motion.

Wow! That was great!

It's pretty clear now that LSU football is dead and buried!

SAD!

Awesome read. I appreciate a literary effort like that!

Props to you, as opposed to those who proudly proclaim that their limited attention span and cognitive limitations prevents their reading of more than three sentences. “Duh, did not read, duh!”

Interesting, good read. Saban wanted Brees, the team dr. would not sign off because of the shoulder injury. People make a lot of Miles' overall win/loss record, but split it in two. The first half of his time at LSU was much higher than the second half. College ball changed from smash you in the mouth, to a passing game, and passed Les bye. Would we be better with Les than O? Of course, but Les was never going to get us back to the promise land.

That is what Saban claimed in 2012. That was not the story in Miami in 2005-6

Nice job LSUgal. Ignore the haters, they are probably upset because you didn't paint Miles as a buffoon.

Welcome to the rant.

I'm surprised people received this well because it's not exactly what the general sentiment is today

73% accurate, some sad by true.

Other than the Saban natty when I was a student, my favorite part of your writing was:

"LSU goes on to defeat 8 ranked teams, including 3 teams that finished in the top 5. It is the greatest regular season in college football history. "

As Miles leads LSU to another national championship in 2007, Saban struggles to rebuild a depleted Alabama program, including a humiliating loss to the University of Louisiana.
