Yes, you are so logical-rational that you have been actively rooting against the LSU coach since he was hired.

Well that's pretty unfair especially considering the circumstances of that game.

Is this like being married to rationality, but not wanting the world to forget you were born logical?

My biggest problem with the Negas goes WAY back to that 2005 Tenn. game.
As you said, given the circumstances, that loss, while not being easy to take, was somewhat understandable.
But from that game on, there have been people on here that have hated Miles so much that even the day after LSU won its third NC, there were people here bemoaning that fact, because, to paraphrase: "Great! Now we have to keep the SOB around for several more years."
One guy said that's all he could think about AT the GAME after we won! Now we have to keep Miles. That guy is a lying arse or stupid, one of the 2.
I'm as frustrated as anyone here this year, but I think this team is very young and can attain greatness in coming years.
I know: inb4: "Yeah good luck with that with MILES coaching."

oh. so you didnt start 125 games ago, you started 124 games ago. glad you cleared that up. i thought you'd had a grudge against Miles this entire time from the way BeeFence was carrying on.

you have a point there!

I'm just fking numb right now and fricking giddy. You almost have to laugh at how pathetic we've looked. I guess some perspective was needed.

It actually relieves some of the stress this time of year usually brings with it. Wayyy fewer decisions about how not to miss a game when other important things are competing for time... much less of the Alabama-Auburn/LSU hatred among neighbors who for the rest of the year like each other.

It is disheartening when one thinks about the incredible money wasted on this coaching staff that never sets foot on the field, except for the "Boss" coach who spends the game looking up at them on his headset waiting to be told what's going on.

Whether I can or cannot find the LSU/Gator game on the radio tomorrow while I'm offshore fishing, is of no great importance this year.

It's not about the winning or losing, it's about the game plans, preparation, intensity, mistake recognition and correction, intelligent use of talent, openness to innovation, and swagger. But to answer your question, should even a hint of the above take place, I'll either be in our stadium or "theirs".

He tried to call a timeout after a TO

That didn't seal his fate, mind you. It was just the first thing.

I don't know if you've heard this, but first impressions are kind of important. He made a bad first impression, not because he didn't win every game, but because he seemed kind of clueless.
It would be one thing if it was an isolated incident, but it clearly wasn't. Les is who we think he is.

He turned out to be much more capable of winning games and sustaining the program than I thought someone with his other characteristics could be, but his luck seems to be running out now.
Is that coincidental with the program being longer in his hands? I don't think so. The team seems much shallower than it used to be. It's a lot easier to be "lucky" when you have better players than 11 out of 12 of your opponents. And yes I know about all the early departures. I don't think that explains what seems to be an overall lack of talent in the program.

and b/c we did shite like shut down the offense

when UTenn made it 21-7, i called it game over. you could just tell by how we had shut down the game that we were going to let them bleed us

add in the exhaustion factor, and it happened. if the coach doesn't believe his guys can go out and win, that attitude is reflected in his players' play on the field. les exhibits this all the time when he tells the offense "i don't trust you", and he's done this since 2005

but like i said earlier, UTenn 2005 didn't seal Miles' fate. but we grew to see the exact issues over and over again
