Favorite memory of T-Jack was this quote after the Florida game in 07:

quote:

"That was a game for the ages," defensive end Tyson Jackson said. "At one point it wasn't even about football anymore. The game was about if we could prove that we had a heart the size of our bodies."

I remember an Arkansas O lineman poking an LSU D lineman in the eye and the LSU D lineman retaliated and the that was the main key reason LSU lost the game.

I was going to poke an Arkansas fan in the eye the next year since Arkansas people think it is legal to do that since Arkansas condoned their O lineman poking the LSU D lineman in the eye. But I forgot about it.

Maybe I will remember this year.

I hear a lot of pro football talking heads bang on Tyson for his lack of production as a pro and not living up to expectations.

All players are drafted based on their potential. More often than not, players drafted that high do NOT live up to the expectations. Those player are gonna catch shite because of the size of their contracts - especially those old rookie contracts. But you don't get a big 2nd contract unless you can play......and Scott Pioli, one of the best in the business, is the assistant GM in Atlanta and the guy who drafted Jackson in 2009.

He's so unproductive he keeps getting huge contracts. Maybe the talking heads are just idiots and stats don't tell the full story on production.
