I am going to gloss over the obvious ones (i.e. 4 years in and we get blown out in a 1st round NIT game). Others:

We looked like an NBA team playing a H.S. team. S

TJ should be fired for having Eddie Ludwig on scholarship still, or at least not permanently affixing him to the last chair on the bench. Love the effort, but we have better players. His presence in the lineup makes it a 5 vs. 4 game -- our offense was completely suffocated with him on the court.

TJ should be fired for taking Malcolm White (who made noise as a PF at Ole Miss of all places) and transforming him into a useless 8th or maybe even 9th man.

TJ should be fired for not playing #6 Jalen Courtney more. Not like he has better options. People excuse him for not having talent, yet this guy languished all year.

TJ should be fired because nobody on that team really likes to play for him, as the last 3 minutes of that game showed.

There are many others, feel free to add.

Every one of your "reasons" are complete bullshite. Come back with some real substance like the direction of the program, wins-losses, state of the program when he got here...etc.

If LSU doesnt make it that far

With all of the legit reasons to fire Trent Johnson, you performed the difficult task of not naming any of them.

Really? What do you disagree with cowboy? Also, read what I said dumbass -- I am not stating the obvious LIKE THE DIRECTION OF THE PROGRAM WHICH IS STRAIGHT TO MEDIOCRITY.

Bubba, I feel for you. You will probably sit through another year of mediocre bs in the PMAC.

Pray tell, which of the reasons do you disagree with and why? Did Malcolm White not contribute at Ole Miss? HNas he really contributed here? Wa sJalen Courtney a heralded h.s. recruit. Why has he not played more? Why is Eddie Ludwig even playing? The cumulation of these questions, and the fact that this coach has been so mediocre don't make you wonder?

So where is Jalen Courtney's head at, as you post elsewhere. Should th ecoach who recruited him yet somehow cannot figure how to get a guy with length and quickness who was successful in h.s to contribute? instead, we get Eddie Ludwig? That's a problem I put on the coach, guy.

Trent's average SEC wins per season (4 years): 6.25

Brady average SEC wins per season (11 years): 6.72

Some positives: We don't seem to have the mass exodus of players; we appear to be consistently playing a little better non-conference schedule; finally have a solid PG (With the exception of maybe Torris Bright, Brady never really had a good PG in 11 years).

Some negatives: Still not a great offensive team (espicially againt zone looks) -- long droughts (similar problems that Brady's teams had); Having trouble landing big recruits (although could argue that is changing with JOBIII and Morgan).

With all that being said, the program has not "dropped off" since TJ arrived. In fact, on average his numbers are about on par with what Brady was doing for the last 11 years. However, if you look at TJ's progression at Nevada, we seem to be on a similar track. The variation is that TJ inherited a great group of Seniors in his first year that had been largely underachieving in their two previous years under Brady.

He has a core group of players returning and at least one solid recruit that can fill one of problem areas this year (outside shooting and ability to create shots). I don't see why people are so quick to want him gone. Next year will tell the story.

LSU got to the postseason this year. It's been rough watching LSU take a step back in their basketball program, but the bottom line is LSU had back-to-back 11-20 seasons and this year they just went to the NIT.

Team has made progress and that's all that matters. He will be getting one more season for sure.

You're missing my point, LSU basketball has averaged a little over 6 SEC wins per season for the past 15 years, this program has not "taken a step back" under TJ. The program has simply maintained the same level as it has been the last 15 years. It could be argued the program has taken a step back over the last 15-18 years, but that decline started at the end of Dale Brown era. While Brady had a few good teams, overall he only averaged 6.7 SEC wins per season.
