A few observations on the game and season so far

I didn't mind all the relinquished passing yards as final score is more important than stats.
I am impressed by the number of points put up last night and the offensive efficiency LSU displayed in the game.
If Randle had caught the early third quarter pass in the end zone, it would have been lights out then and there. I felt this and the resulting missed field goal gave WVU unexpected life to make a tighter game of it.
I also like the way this LSU team has been able to pound the ball late in games to throttle the life out of their foes.
This is how you win games in the SEC, as WVU found out last night.
If this offense keeps progressing and the defense returns to it's typical dominance, there could very well be a third crystal football in the trophy case in January and maybe Coach Miles will get some much deserved and long overdue acceptance from everyone in the Tiger nation.
I'll be honest here and say I am proud he is the coach at the state's flagship university.
