My favorite part of the Oregon entrance (not counting Les running to the wrong sideline) is Rueben Randle jogging all calm at the tail end

Mediocre coach who won more games than he should've because of the talent he had on his teams. Ran a clean program and players seemed to enjoy him. Mismanaged plenty of talented kids and gave Jarett Lee a raw deal. Stubborn to the point of being detrimental to the program and his is eventually what did him in. He's done some good things for LSU, but it's time that they part ways.

Les Miles will be my favorite LSU coach of all time no matter what happens after he leaves. I love that man. He's an awesome human being, which is more important than being an awesome football coach.

Miles deserves recognition for all he did at LSU. Most importantly, he kept our program clean and pushed kids in the classroom. We got a title with Miles here but he did while mentoring young kids and being a great ambassador at LSU. The moment he came out at the SEC title game and shutdown rumors he was headed to his alma mater will always stand out. He may be a Michigan man but he has earned every bit of being an LSU man as well. Still in my mind the coach that deserves a statue at LSU. Not for just the things he did on the field but how much he proudly represented our school! I still wish he were staying but all the things leading up to today has me thinking differently. Thanks for everything Les, you have done great things for LSU.

Coach Miles, out of profound respect for you as a Coach and as a family man, I have not touched myself in a lewd and lascivious manner since you became our head coach at LSU.
I hope you feel honored that I will not continue this practice if you should be replaced.

Saw this man sign autographs during a rain delay at a middle school baseball tournament for an hour his first year here. The person running the tournament told me Saban was there the year before and never left his sons dugout. Been a fan ever since!

When Les was hired, I don't even think his name rung a bell with me. Then I heard he was OSU's coach and I remembered that they seemed to always give Texas hell but that's all I knew about the man. I was at Les' first game in Tiger Stadium. That was the infamous Monday night loss to Tennessee. I walked out of that stadium that night wondering if we'd just hired the next Hudson Hallman or Mike Archer. If the choice were up to me 11 years ago there's no way on god's green earth I would have hired him. I would have been wrong. After sitting back and watching year after year of success from our coach, I started saying, I'm glad guys like me don't get to hire football coaches. At any rate, I'll be in Tiger Stadium Saturday night coach, just in case it is your last one. Win or lose, it won't matter. Just like losing that UT game didn't matter. Nothing that happens between now and the end of time will change the fact that you'll walk out of that stadium the way you have for years now, as the most successful coach in the history of this school.

I'm going to miss the man that's for damn sure. He has brought us a lot of success and has made me angry sometimes, but over all I'm going to miss him.

Thanks Les! Great run but a change is good for both. Not easy following a legendary college great like Saban but u did it. I hope u resurrect a program somewhere and this Lsu fiasco had taught you to adapt with the new times in college football. Go get Maryland or Syracuse back to 8-9 win teams and u will go down as one of the greats!
