But if Etling has a good game vs. AU this week, that will tell us a lot about his composure and mental toughness...I for one have my fingers crossed for him and LSU...

I'm cautiously optimistic. If we can go on the road and the offense is competent and does what is necessary to win.... man You won't be able to convenience me we aren't capable taking the sec west.
And yes even if it's against a struggling auburn they have a solid enough defense to make me feel this way.

Auburn is not a bad team...they also have QB problems...other than that, they are a decent team...if Etling has a good night and AU continues to struggle at QB, we win !

Etling will carry LSU further than Mett. for this reason...he is a lot faster and smarter in the pocket...Mett took too long to decide what to do with the ball and therefore took too many sacks...DE right now is displaying all the qualities of a winner at QB...for how long, that is yet to be proven...

I totally agree. I think DE has all the tools to be better than mett. He certainly doesn't have as good of weapons but he has the pocket awareness and composure to negate that.
