That's got to be wrong. That only equals about 7.5 reg season games a year.

Great job Speedy.

Winning pct is actually 80.7 %, you listed it as 80.1 % (you might have been thinking of rounding it up to 81 % and misplaced your decimal point, not sure).

Also LSU is the only team ever to beat the 3 previous national champions in 1 season. On top of that, for good measure we beat the runner up from last seasons BCS CG as well.

18-3 when having more than 1 week to prepare for a game (includes opening games, bye weeks, bowl games)

We still have 2 SEC games left to play.

So that would be 56, which is 8 games and 7 years.

I guess he meant SEC reg season. OP said "Regular Season Record"

ETA: I'm retarded. He did say SEC

If already posted, please disregard, but Les has beaten Bob Stoops...when he was at Oklahoma State, so there's another national championship-winning coach. In fact, he beat him twice in the bedlam series.

Here's another good one.

Since the 27-21 OT loss to Bama in 2008 three years ago, Miles has only lost TWO home games:
Ole Miss in '08 and Florida in '09.

2 to Saban, 3 to Meyer, 1 to Fulmer, 1 to Paterno, 1 to Chzick

So 14-8 vs other national champion winning coaches at LSU....636 not bad. Even better if you count the two Stoops wins at Okie St.

Those 71 wins since 2005 are not bettered by any other school in BCS football.

Am I correct that Miles is the only coach in LSU history to beat Alabama 5 times?
