When the track cablecast ends, the baseball will air on a tape-delayed basis assuming we get started at 6:15 as hoped. That's from Dave Neal and his people at FSN.

Call your limo and get back to the booth.. Is "statman" around or is he slipping off to another movie?

I should also say the track (in progress on FSN) is scheduled to end at 8 Eastern, 7 Central. After that, baseball (tape-delayed) if we have baseball before then.

I went back and checked. They just started a little while ago. I still think they are going to switch since it's a live event.

ETA. I see now that it will be tape-delayed

I was locked in the booth until the tournament ended after I snuck off for a French class on Thursday afternoon during the Alabama game.

i would hope so since ratings for the SEC baseball tourney are likely higher than that of the SEC tourney for track & field....IMO.

That's from Chuck Dunlap of the SEC office.

Is this a one game deal?

Apparently, that's not what's going to happen, though.

Are you asking if this is now a one-game "semifinal" game? If that's your question, no. It would be if Georgia wins, of course.

I know that there was a long excerpt from the SEC manual explaining substitutions in another thread, but I never quite understood...

Does Bradshaw have to take the mound in the bottom of the 1st or can someone else start and leave him for later?

I think he is officially in the game but would like clarification.

I live in north la. and don't get fsn... i get fssw. Big 12 track and field championships on rite now. They keep saying on there they will go back to baseball as soon as delay is over.

I've been on the Rant long enough to know that they will see the game starts at 6:15, wait until then, then check FSN, then freak out. So you still have 45 minutes.
